The Hilton Metropole Hotel is the venue for the London stop of the European Poker Tour which runs from September 30th to October 6th 2011. Last years main event saw a record number of entrants with 848 players and saw UKIPT regular David Vamplew become Scotland's highest earning poker player ever when he scooped a phenomenal first prize of £900,000 at the tender age of 23.
The main event will not be the only focus of the week long festival however. The High Roller event will be of interest as will the European 8-game championship leg. EPT London is also the Grand Final of Pokerstars UK & Ireland's Poker Tour 2011.
As always the festival is being run in conjunction with the Grosvenor Victoria Casino and forms part of the Grosvenor's annual European Poker Championship event. Expect to see many well-know poker personalities walking the streets of London next week including the legendary Doyle Brunson who is rumoured to be making the trip over from the States.
